A gently modernised townhouse a short walk from Nijo Castle and the Nishijin weaving district. Sliding shoji, a small tsuboniwa garden and a quiet street — a calm base camp for exploring Kyoto like a resident.

Our original Kyoto home, tucked in the shitamachi streets of Enmachi. A compact, warm space with a wooden ceiling and the feel of a second-hand bookstore — perfect for a couple or a small family.
